"Copper Moon" was a very natural design for me, and dates back to my first days at the jewelry bench. The piece is solid with a very nice weight to it. It is made from copper and sterling silver. The copper center is riddled with craters of all different shapes and sizes, and every "Copper Moon" I make has a unique formation of these craters. No two pieces are quite the same. The pendant itself is completely hand made from a heavy gauge sterling silver. Copper is known to possess many natural healing properties.
In the beginning, I had made a few pieces similar to "Copper Moon" using only sterling silver, but after meeting and befriending Tom Freund, a very soulful and talented singer/songwriter, I had the idea to make another version using copper and silver.
